I also have used Micron on our last two boats within a span of 13 years. Our last was bottom-coated with Micron Extra using a medium nap, synthetic wool roller.
This photo is from last Spring showing the texture. There are 3 applications of Extra from prior seasons as a base coat, after stripping and barrier-coating. The bronze strut has a metal primer as a base.
