Well, I drilled holes in the rudder of size 3/16 inches. I have been drying it out since. I put it near the furnace some water came out. But when I drilled a test hole it was still damp. So then I laid it out in the sun for about 10 days off and on. In the sun when it would heat up water would come out of the holes and the crack. Water evenutally stopped the rudder got a little lighter too. Hopefully this weekend if I can get to it I will strip off the
paint off the rudder and fill the holes with
epoxy. I plan to barrier coat it as well soon.
