Jib Leech Line - What Now?
My jib leech line has somehow managed to turtle up into the pocket that it runs through. It is about 5 inches up,
The jib is on a roller furler, so if I can extract the leech line without removing the jib, that would be ideal.
I tried a pair of long needle nose pliers, but they are a little short. I have a pair of really long chemistry tweezers/thin, blunt tongs, but I wasn't able to get them around the leech knot. It either pushed the knot further up or off to a side. There isn't much room in the leech "baffle" to maneuver around the knot. My next approach is to use a crochet hook.
Anyone else have approaches?
Thanks in advance.
