I had accidentally smeared grease on the vinyl upholstered seats of a boat we owned some time ago (4 boats back). I had read somewhere that after covering the area with a white cloth soaked in a 3% solution of
hydrogen peroxide and leaving from 30 minutes to overnight, the stains would disappear.
This did the trick with us - but they were fresh stains. Don't know how effective this would be with old grease.
