i think this is what you are referring to.
if you rule out the simple things first, your frustration level will go down somewhat.
if you have a filtration system, a dirty filter or being airlocked could explain the problem. however, never discount the possibility it could be something easily overlooked (clogged aerators for example). prepare for the major issues, like a bad pump. budget boat units for project.
