Firefox has an add-in called NoScript. It prevents Javascripts and other applets from running unless you specifically agree to allow them. I have everything on this site blocked except sailnet.com itself. Sailnet loads in a reasonable amount of time for me. A little bit slower than some similar sites, but fast enough.
