pb---you deserve a job in the white house press office for the spin you put on this. if the capture of obl were still important, but not a top priority, why shut down the CIA group formed to find OBL just another bush decision that makes no sense about this war? and I don't understand all the sensitivity about this little side bar topic.so maybe SCK5 didn't say it just right but it's clear that bush backed away from the hunt for OBL. is it so egregious to concede that point? after all, bush could never find OBL anyway and perhaps he was tired of answering all the questions about why he had failef to find OBL. so his response was to cease making it a priority for the military. so just maybe this was yet another way to spin things to deflect attention from his failed "dead or alive" edict to find OBL? and at this point does it matter?
