Nice Thread!!!Tons of good advice. Me Im just getting started. Did up a snapdragon 23 (had 2 kids) and now am working on a little Miracle Sailing Dinghy.
Its my GRP Epoxy Learning Project!
Epoxy is just the most amazing material. Its gonna be a little while before I have enough experience to replace a deck and i suspect Bob Brintnall could tell us a few disaster stories he picked up along that learning curve!
But I completely agree with Bobs "get your hands dirty" philosophy.
Ive learned so much from each project.
The kids are getting older and were moving house soon. Maybe ill get a decent garden/double garage and do up a Wayfarer. Then a trailable twin keeler. Then...?
As a fellow teacher I knows theres enough summer holiday to attempt almost anything!
