Docking
In Long Island Sound, both North Shore and Ct.traditionaly, you pay for the size of the slip not the size of the boat ie. a 35'' boat in a 40'' slip will pay the rate for the larger slip. Per foot seasonal rates run anywhere from $95/ft to $110/ft, if you can find one. A onetime seasonal charge for electricity is usually charged and varies
greatly by marina and type of vessel. Best deal is to find a dockaminium somewhere and work out a deal with the owner. Transient rates are now starting to eclipse the $3.50/ft charge in many popular areas.
