All good titles, and worthy of a place on my shelf.<P>I cut my teeth on Bob Bond''s <em>Handbook of Sailing</em>, and still pull it down from time to time.<P>For cruising stories akin to <em>Maiden Voyage</em> and <em>Dove</em> (both classics), I''d offer Eric Hiscock''s <em>Wandering Under Sail</em> and others in his series.<P>And don''t forget Joshua Slocum''s seminal <em>Sailing Alone Around the World</em>.
