I second the suggestion of Pilots Point in Westbrook. Very easy in and out compared to the Ct. River. A bit expensive ($3.50 per ft last time I was there) but a nice facility. An option is to
anchor behind Duck Island. I do that at least once each summer on my annual cruise. You can then duck into Pilots Point to get ice,
fuel, and water.
