I'm a contender! Went for an overnight sail w my 6 y.o. grandaughter and was in reverse while setting my anchor. There was a loud boomp, some grating sound and I looked to see my new Portland Pudgy dingy being sucked under the boat into my prop! So I grabbed a mask and snorkel [thankful it was aboard] and jumped into some breath grabbing cold water and cut the rope. It was as tight as could be. The entire bridle was gobbled and one side popped out. [while staying in contact w grandaughter] Minor damage to the dingy, major damage to my ego. I was surrounded by fellow boaters and hope I don't end up on t.v. or worse. Rule #2, careful while backing down!
[if anyone repeats this story I will deny any and all knowledge, to quote an infamous pol...."I don't recall it"???]
My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
