Jim, you have gotten in one more than I have!
Yup. I get frustrated and angry, sometimes. Sometimes get to thinking this whole boat-owning thing was a bad idea. But, in more reflective moments I realize that we could be a whole lot worse-off than we are, and we really do love our boat.
We'll figure it out and we'll be sailing again, soon-or-later
. I'm trying to look at the bright side: Everything that breaks, and gets fixed, is another thing I shouldn't have to worry about again. For a while. I hope
It does. And I knew the potential for "issues" going in. When the Admiral first said "I want a sailboat," I told her "You know what we call a boat?" "No," she answered. "A hole in the water into which you pour money," I replied. She didn't believe me--didn't see why that should be so.
Now she does.
