Thanks.. I needed to install my nav instrument this way because one of the newer off-set pedestal guards would have interfered with my end boom sheeting which I really like and want to keep.

I'm amazed that Edson has not stolen my idea as everyone that sees it wants one. In the early days of small wheels this instrument platform would have been in the way but with larger wheels it's no more in the way than the wheel.... I'm going on my second season with this design and have had zero issues with it..
