jindal would be an interesting pick for the ethnicity issue alone---an indian/ American on the rep. ticket? a former hindu who converted to catholicism? real first name is Piyush. that will go over with the repub base, right?
hey the country has a real battle aheadfor pres. the dems will add sets in both houses, so even if mccain wins he has a long 4 years ahead of him. as does the country of course.

I believe most of the Rep. party cares less about race or ethnicity than the dem. party. Probably one of the many interesting things about Jindal is he has actually worked for a living and has realistic expectations based on a through survey of the situations with which he deals. BO on the other hand has some fantastic, idealistic, naive speach writers who unfortunately cannot answer the questions tossed at their canidate in an open forum.
