Seaclear II ROCKS! But can I use it inland now?
I used SeaClear II with every NOAA BSB chart known to man on our vacation and it never failed to amaze me!
The problem is now that we are home, I would like to continue to use it inland, but of course, all I get is the green chart with the little blue specs on it.
Is there anywhere I can get complete BSB charts like the NOAA ones for all of the Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Idaho and Utah lakes? I've searched the internet but all I get is tons upon tons of BS, or things I don't need.
Should I just go and buy the USGS quads, try to scan them into my computer and then make a poor attempt at calibrating them? That is a LOT of work just for a small lake, not to mention how much trouble it would be with something like Flaming Gorge or Elephant Butte! Besides, I'd be missing all of the fishing information, depths and port info.
