Just some feedback - NOAA doesn't have charts for my area, and I couldn't find any online, so I had to resort to scanning them in and then using the mapclear program to align them. It is fairly simple, but I would have preferred a CD!
Charts and maps I used were USGS topo's (which are available on CD but it looked like more trouble than it was worth), fishing maps of various scales, and the red light readable (can't think of the name at the moment) lake maps that have little details like underwater buildings and sunk boats, trees etc.
Seaclear just chooses the best map for where we are going, and it is all automatic now. There were settings in the program to which maps (detailed small ones vs. less detailed larger) I would prefer to see at which zoom levels.
surftom, I just read something about how to use ENC in seaclear. you may want to review the manual or website.
