Hey all you NW SailNetters, bring the whole family over to Port Townsend this weekend for the 8th Annual Lats & Atts NW Cruiser Party. It's Aug 8-9-10 in Point Hudson. Should be the best one yet. PT is a wonderful place, and Point Hudson (where the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Fest is held) is hard to beat. Saturday night is the main event with the Eric Stone Band flying in from the USVI, but there's all sorts of things going on - including games and events for the kids.
All the reserved slips are taken (they were gone in January!), with lineal dock space first come/first serve. Anchoring just around the corner off of downtown, or putting in at Boat Haven a mile south are good options.
Expectations are for well over 100 boats and with additional people driving in from around Puget Sound/Oregon/BC, maybe over 1,000 people. Bob and Jody are coming (as usual), and it's going to be great fun. And the weather is going to be perfect.
