Thanks SD
SD, I actually agree with you about having upgrades done locally.. I am a cynic when it comes to trusting people let alone those who already have been paid and live 3000 miles away... MY big problem comes back to my original question if you recall.... It was about maintaining the boat and how accessable things would be.. That would also include upgrades... I realize any boat yard in the PNW can most likely do any Gemini upgrade.. My thinking was it would be better done at the time of building... Yes, I was recommended Peter Kennedy for upgrades at the time of building.. What bothers me is that the two individuals talk seperately to me... I am beginning to "feel' as if both work together for my money... I just desire to be on the same page is all... All Gemini owners up where I am located went through Peter Kennedy (that I know of)... I would have to ask somne one locally to look at the Gemini and decide what upgrades would be required.. The problem I am concerned about is un doing what has already been done... That is where a local person has an advantage... I did talk with Tony's wife and she told me they work close with Peter Kennedy on any and all upgrades.. She also stated the boat is production and some upgrades would be difficult after purchase. Thats why I want things done at the time.. I like the Gemini and I must admit, based on my own personal bias regarding company longevity- I am gaining concern about Gemini.. I am still old school- A mans word is his word.... It may mean nothing to some but to me it means means much... If what you say is true then it means Gemini has been less then honest with me... That means if I want that boat- I will look used and seek local upgrades... In todays world money talks... There is reason some sell cheap... Some companies just honor thier custormers better then others I suppose... I head back to my original thread about Hunters, Catalinas and Benes.... Guess it all comes down to treust for me and many other buyers as well.. Thanks SD... YOU made thingd easier and also harder for me.. But better.. So for that I extend my gratititude... Mike
ps... I knew I could not trust those east coasters....
