A friend of mine is looking at purchasing a 26 foot Hunter water ballast for use at a local sail club but will trailer it to the Chesapeake and possibly Lake Michigan a couple of times a year.
The web page states the beam is 8'11" but most states have 8'6" as the maximum width. Also what size/type vehicles are being used? The weight is around 5000 lbs.
