I live aboard and also go sailing with my cat Dinghy. I tried to train him to use the head but he is bigger than the toilet, and the mess of catlitter was terrible. I now use a cat box in the head and move it when neccessary. He hides when we go out and the engine is running or it is rough and the sails are up.
