I just took delivery of a new rigid vang from Garhauer, and realized that I have no way to
cleat it. I was thinking that I'd just replace the bottom block with one that has a cam
cleat on it, but in talking to Mark at Garhauer, it seems like that's probably not the best plan. It would be difficult to release.
I've been thinking about adding Cunningham as well, so I guess it's time to bite the bullet and install a deck organizer and a pair of clutches or cam
cleats on the cabintop.
So I guess my question is more about the Cunningham. My mast is deck-stepped, and I don't have any sort of mast plate. What sort of purchase is required? Should I attach it to the mast, or to the deck?
This is all going to be a big pain because the P30 has a hard plastic headliner.
