Tom, I have sent a message by email but here is another. I believe the number of the year is 85 I have a 84 Johnson 9.9 xtra long shaft that is giving me a fit. I have been trying to find a new or used one that will fit my Bristol 24 and have run up a wall for new 4 strokes that don't fit. I am looking for a 25 inch shaft that will work. Does the throttle on your use a gear at the tiller body joint or does it use cable on a pulley like at the motor end of the tiller.
