I have the Leatherman Wave and couldn''t be happier. A flip of the writs holding only one handle opens it suffeciently to finish the job with a free finger. The four major blades (knife, saw, file, and serrated knife) blades lock open and can be opened one-handed with a thumb. This all allows the one hand for the boat, one for me system.
I bought an extra for the ditch bag just in case.
