My Hunter 28.5 has a simple hole in the bottom of the anchor locker connected to a tube which is run to a small thru-hull in the bow a few feet above the water line. Works nicely, but has to be hosed out every once in a while as it is small diameter and will hold mud, dirt and other crud. Another nice feature is that it also lets air into your anchor locker, allowing your rode to dry out.
