all of your "skeletons" have been public knowledge for months but Obama is still up 8 points in the polls. Palin is the only one of the 4 Prez and VP candidates who still has parts of her past uninvestigated by the media. The reporters will be digging into it all now and it is starting to look like it wont be too pretty (secessionist party affiliation, creationism in the schools, etc.) Now you may LIKE secessionism or creationism in your kids' science class but most people dont. They also like to see a candidate able to answer EVEN ONE QUESTION about foreign affairs. Sarah Palin has yet to do that and most of us suspect it is because she cant.
So cheer all you like, but it is very clear that Palin was a political gimmick - and not one that was very well investigated ahead of time

If anything this makes me nervous about how McCain makes decisions. He shot from the hip on this one and it sure looks like he missed with everyone except die hard conservatives.
But she sure is better looking than Joe Lieberman
