You know this might not be the right thread, but...Palin's issues etc.. bring it up in my mind.
How does someone call themselves "Pro - Life" and simultaneously support the "Death penalty".
Am I wrong or is this just word smithing at it's finest.
It should be called what it is, Pro-choice or anti-abortion. It's not pro-abortion because NO ONE really wants to have an abortion just for the sake of having one.
I'm tired of the word games, I'm think I'm a normal person - why do some folks continue to play them.
I can only think of one reason a staunch conservative would call an anti-abortion, pro death penalty stance 'Pro - Life" and that reason is they are think I'm too stupid to consider more than one issue at a time.
Note I left plenty of white space in my comments so you cut and paste quoters have a easy time of picking my thoughts apart in your comments. Note also I'll gladly reassemble them back into one issue, not the two you'd like it to be.
