I dont know Beez. I think it is more a case of the press having a limited attention span. They can only think about things that are shiny and new - which is why any candidate's best strategy is simply to stick it out. That is why I think Palin's first press conference is so important. She will need to give answers to all the questions that are asked and not sound evasive or like she is peddling BS. If she can do that (and of course I hope she cant) then the press will move on to other stories as they did with Obama. If she can't then it is going to be a very long two months.
