That letter is biased and un-informed. The whole deal over the issue with the errant highway patrolman, for example, is just a little deeper than the self-described housewife detailed. That cop was being divorced from Gov. Palin's sister. Ugly, as you might expect. It has been reported that said cop had tasered his 10 y/o step-son, and had made death threats on Gov. Palin's father. Geee, if I were in that situation, I'd want him fired too! Being the guvna, I'd be leaning on someone to get rid of him.

This is a fair assessment? Here's something I don't get. How is it, a person can conduct their life one way (pro-life comes to mind), but the public expects them to conduct their political life the same way? I mean, Senator Kennedy votes pro-life, right? Well, except when it's his, and a river is nearby. Funny how the public is okay with that sort of duplicity, but that self-described housewife isn't okay when Palin voted differently on a public issue than she would on a personal matter.

I don't know if she'd be a good VP, or Prez., but the more I look over that letter, the more negative it appears. Increased gov't size? Could that possibly have anything to do with the population increases in that town? Seems to me a park and sports center would be a great thing for a growing city with a growing youth population....keep 'em outta trouble, healthy outlet, all that. What kind of whack puts a negative spin on it because it didn't make a profit? Perhaps this nobody doesn't see the bigger picture, meaning the spillover from the sales that result from peripheral sales by all the people that go to the activities, and the profit would be in the form of increased sales tax revenue.

Seems to me it's best to not post someone else's politically motivated crap on a sailing site.
