I chuckled at a recent commercial on television here from the Obama campaign. It had McCain standing there saying that quote about how he has voted with Republicans 90% of the time, or something like that, I don't remember the exact quote. The reason I laughed about it is that the Obama campaign was using that as proof that McCain was McSame, that is, the same as Bush ... but the funny thing about that quote was that it was taken out of context, and what McCain was actually trying to do when he said that was convince Republicans that he was actually one of them! Because McCain has taken so many positions that are opposed to conservations that Republicans weren't sure and needed convincing!
