AutoHelm ST4000
I had a new ST4000 tiller pilot on my previous boat. ( CheoyLee Frisco flyer 26)It worked perfectly. I sold the Cheoy Lee without the autopilot. I installed the same unit in the next boat ( Tartan 27) Now it only holds the course on a reach or a beat. Downwind or under power it yaws 20-30 degrees either side of the course and will not maintain course on auto track. I''ve tried all the adjustments in the manual and nothing seems to change it''s response. Any one have any ideas what''s wrong?
