If you are looking at Hunter and Catalina, you should look at Beneteau. and if you are looking at all of those you surely must look at todays Jeanneau''s. Beneteau First series has the best value, but sometimes too racey for some. I like them though, more price keep in mind. I am assuming we are talking new.

Jeanneau''s use traditional full length stringers instead of a "hull liner" for construction but are almost the same price. Catalina is similar. Hunter and Beneteau use liners as far as I know...I''m sure bene. does. all big manufacturers use mini liners on the small parts, I''m talking about the big structural liner. anyway don''t just limit to Hunter vs.Catalina as there are about 4 more great companies to look at.
