I used and interlux mulit seaon ablative paint this season and brush it with a very SOFT brush every two weeks we get slime pretty quick when the water gets warm

I used two coats and was bit on the thin side were the J24 trailer pads support the hull ,these spots will make the season (6 months) but there getting pretty thin

In talking to interlux you can use different colors so it becomes clear when it is wearing thin and long term use would require more coats up to what ever they say is the MAX

The light brushing seems to allow the paint to protect untill there is no more paint left

There are about 3000+ boats in my area and there is not a one that does not require bottom brushing

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat
