Nice History

Paul, thanks for the history... I here such stories all the time... That is my main point.. Government jobs (tax payer based) vs private sector... Many of those private sector jobs will be unioun- lets be realistic... I like the idea of Governor Palin pushing the oil and gas companies to build a 40billion dollar pipeline (there revenues) not the tax payers... Then those jobs will be very high paying jobs (union included)... The tax revenues go to the state plus the tx revenues of natural resorces also go back to the state- WOW, thats a win - win deal for Alaskans...

Paul, I'd always favor private sector jobs (where they have to pay for there own over head) vs gov'nt jobs... Now hear is a story for you....

The janitor, grounds keeper, and cooks at the VA hospital in Seattle WA get up to 30 dollar an hour- they also get federal health insurance (better then the amputee vet showing up for care).. Plus ther spouse and dependent children also get federal health care (The Vet and his family DO NOT).. Thats ALL PAID by the US tax payers for Veteran Health Care... Can we at least admit that the VA health care exists to provide federal jobs with benefits and NOT to provide Veteran Health Care to Vets? Facts are starburn my friend!..
