Four more weekends - best sailing here is in the fall, too. Then I have to decide whether to winterize on the fifth weekend or take a chance on going a couple more weeks. We are driving to San Antonio after election day, will be gone two weekends. I hate to do it, but probably will give it up Nov 2. Better safe than sorry! I don't schedule the pull-out, because here on the Mississippi the safest place for my boat is in the water! Sudden flooding could carry it away if it's on shore. She's too big for a trailer, so I can't haul it away to a hilltop for safety! Next year will generate the memories - retiring, plan to live on the boat and wander!
