The Rays are 6-4 against the White Sox this year, but, as has been alluded to, statistics often are rather meaningless in Oct.
Whatever happens, I am going to enjoy it.
Whether it's because of all the negative stuff going on in the world like the war in Iraq, and the war between the candidates, or the crappy economy and fact that my business is just barely hanging in there. Or just the fact that I don't get enough sailing in my life anymore. Baseball, Sailnet, (and rum), have filled a need for me this year by providing a way to "forget about life for awhile".
The way the Rays have performed this year has made it easy to get into.
I am certain that the playoffs will not disappoint me. Even if the Rays, for some inexplicable reason, don't win the World Series in five.
Congratulations on you're team's success, and please tell Guillen to keep Piersinsky on a short leash while he's in town.
