On the William Ayers front...I think this is gonna get more interesting. The dems are trying to portray it as character assassination and saying Barack was 8 years old when Ayers did the bombings and that it is guilt by association.
The fact is that it IS about CHARACTER and the lack of it and the choices Obama makes in his friends and associates. Ayers was much more than "a guy in the neighborhood I knew". He is a close associate of Obama's in RECENT history as the Annenberg Papers prove AND Obama funneled Ayers lots of bucks from Annenberg Funds. Obama wasn't 8 years old when THIS happened and that he chooses to associate with such an anti-american, unrepentant terrorist IS a major campaign issue no matter how much Obama tries to spin it.
