It did actually - it now only smokes when only at beyond norm operating rpms (ie heavy throttle)...It does take longer now to go forward but reverse is instantaneous and I really do not have to increase throttle to much to engage. Overheating - not even an issue now either. All in all - a success. That was a good suggestion - thanks much.
