Yes Barry - sailing on LIS is best in Sept/Oct/Nov. Although there were some good days this summer.

I'm hauling out at Capt Cove in Bridgeport mid-Nov - in the meantime some more sailing days - and doing the Gearbuster Regatta from Greenwich to Stratford Shoal on Saturday - on my friend's boat.

I keep my boat in until early November, so I have another month or so to sail. I was racing (on a friends boat) Sunday - we had 15 kts all day. I also went out this morning (sailed from 10 to noon) and the wind was 12kts from the north. The only other boat I was saw was the Port Jeff - Bridgeport Ferry. I love the good wind and empty water. Too bad it gets too cold to sail much longer.
