Yes, you have the right idea. Stir the combination together very thoroughly so the whole pot cures at the same rate. I personally pump one resin and then one hardener, one resin and one different hardener. When I have just finished a hardener stroke I know I am even. On small batches it is usually not a problem, larger batches gives more time to lose concentration.
