I'd suggest you watch costs carefully here.. if it's a close call I'd move up to a more conventional setup, that you'll likely be happier with in the long haul. A whack like that would have likely damaged only a 3 or 4 foot section of a newer metal foil - easily replaced.

You'd also be pleased with the improvement in raising that second sail with its own aft groove....

But whatever it takes to get that rig back up!!
