The higher price of
fuel caused me to completely discount the possibility of getting a power boat, and made my purchase of a sailboat all the sweeter. Also, since it costs more to drive back and forth between home and the boat, now I go to the boat and stay there for a few days. As far as actually using the boat, I only use the diesel about 15 mins. for a days sailing, so it hasn't affected that.
