Clinton 43%, 370 electoral votes
GHWBush 38 %, 168 electoral votes
Ross Perot 19%, 0 electoral votes
It sure was a whippin' in the electoral college.
And as expected, the polls are closing now, but McCain has to fight yet another war inside his campaign now that Palin thinks she is the annoited one. Too bad his Hail Mary pass in selecting her has blown up in his face. Gee, who could have predicted that one??? she has not brought any moderates to his side, and women are turning against her. she has solidified his conservative base, which was a bad enough sign for him to begin with that that was even necessary. He wanted her to bring in moderates and women-- ain't happening.
