Yeah, I'm definitely thinking the same thing. Interstrip uses Toluene and MEK. Very volatile, and very nasty.
The weird thing is that the paint didn't bubble or blister at all. All of the literature shows that after an application of this stuff, the paint is essentially sloughing off the surface. I might as well not have applied it for all the change it made to this paint.
I'm an engineer, so I get what happened, but I have NO experience with this kind of thing, and am glad that I have this forum to post to to get some different perspectives. The reality is that i am waiting for someone to identify for me the 'magic bullet' that will help me remove the paint without breaking my back, and without spending $1500 on soda blasting.
