The kind of info you are looking for can significantly depend on the last storm''s effects and may not be accurately found in Rauscher''s guide to the western Caribbean (which I assume you''ve looked at). You need current, local info - as I''m sure you are aware. Perhaps the charter companies can also offer you some referrals.

Another option that perhaps is available to you is to join the W Caribbean Net on their daily sessions and inquire of boats that are currently sailing in those waters. It is held on 8.155 USB at 0900 local time, but it''s a little confusing to be sure you know which ''local'' time so you may need to search for it a bit. If you''re in the Florida area, you should be able to talk with them.
