First sail of the 2004 season

Synergy is my Farr 11.6 (Farr 38). The stats are LOA= 38''2, LWL= 32''4, Beam=12''0, Draft=6''4, Design Disp=10,600 lbs (12,500 lbs as she is typically loaded for cruising), Ballast=4400, and SA=685 with 100%fore triangle. There are some pictures at www.cruisersforum.com They were designed as high performance offshore cruisers. My boat was single-handed in from South Africa in the early 1980''s. They have a reasonably complete but very simple interior. They are fairly small for a 38 footer but quite large for a 10600 lb boat. They have a fractional rig which makes them a piece of cake to single-hand.
