Prop for Atomic 4
I have a 1969 Pearson 35 with an Atomic 4 (30hp) direct drive. I am using a 12"x5" three blade prop and can only attain about 1700 RPMs at full throttle (the engine is in good working order). This only generates about 14 hp and gives me very little reserve power. Indigo has come out with a 3-blade 10"x7.4" prop that they claim will give higher RPMs and better performance, with almost no increase in surface area on the prop. Has anyone tried this prop? Any other thoughts would be appreciated!
