I did that. I've been fooling with computers since the days of punch cards. Assigning ports and screwing with the parameters holds no fear for me... ...but I can't get either USB GPS to feed data to SeaClear.

I've also read a number of threads on cruisers' sites...nada.

I'm looking for an alternative to Seaclear that is free and "sees" USB GPSes, just so I can try out laptop chartplotting.
