I was a childhood Brooklyn Dodger fan when they were in Ebbets field. I rooted for the Dogers to win the National League and went to many games and got to shake hands with some of the greats...Koufax, Campenella, Drysdale, Snider, PeeWee et al. ...a great team. Always rooted for the Yanks and my other hereos to win the American league so we'd have a subway series.
Then my Dodgers left me and I left them. Attended opeining day in 1968 at Shea and have loved the underdogs ever since and only been rewarded VERY occasionally!
But...Ya Gotta Believe as Tug used to say!
