It may depend on what you have connected to it...
It can't output information it doesn't have. For instance, the HDG, HDM may need to be supplied by a fluxgate
compass or
GPS. The
Autopilot might supply HDG, HDM but will not do so unless it is on IIRC. VHW is probably also a
compass related datum.
